Our Counselling Services

At United Front Therapy, we offer a range of counselling services designed to support individuals, couples, and families through life's challenges. Discover how we can help you find a way forward that feels more manageable and connected.

Our Therapy Options

At United Front Therapy, the focus goes beyond quick fixes. Our sessions explore what’s happening underneath the surface, the emotional patterns, attachment needs, and past experiences that shape how people relate to each other, especially during stress or conflict.

Using a mix of approaches like emotionally focused therapy, parts work, somatic awareness, trauma-informed practice, and family systems thinking, the work helps clients slow things down, better understand their reactions, and respond in new ways.

Support is available for couples feeling stuck in the same arguments, parents worried about their child or teenager, and families dealing with ongoing tension. Everyone’s experience is heard and taken seriously.

The aim is to help people feel more connected, more steady, and better equipped to move forward together.

Individual therapy

A space just for you, to understand what’s going on beneath the surface—whether that’s stress, anxiety, past experiences, or patterns that keep repeating.

Couples therapy

Support for you and your partner to move out of conflict or disconnection, understand what’s driving your reactions, and rebuild trust and connection.

Family therapy

A space for families to come together, reduce tension, improve communication, and create a more settled, supportive home environment.

Who benefits most from our support?

We work especially well with parents who are worried about their child or teenager and feel stuck, when nothing they’re trying seems to work. This is where we can make the biggest difference.

Supporting parents and teenagers

You might be dealing with big emotions, anxiety, withdrawal, behaviour changes, or constant conflict at home. It can feel exhausting, confusing, and at times like you’re getting it wrong. We help you understand what’s really going on underneath your child’s behaviour, often linked to stress, emotional overwhelm, or earlier experiences, so you can respond in a way that actually helps, rather than escalates things.

My unique approach

What we bring isn’t just professional experience, it’s lived experience as well. We understand, on a personal level, what it’s like to navigate the challenges of family life, parenting, and relationships.

That means when you sit with me, you’re not being judged or analysed from a distance, you’re being met with genuine understanding. Alongside that, I bring over 25 years of clinical experience. I am able to quickly see what’s happening underneath the surface, why certain patterns keep repeating, and what’s driving the reactions that feel so hard to change.  We don’t offer one-size-fits-all therapy. We work with you in a way that is practical, grounded, and tailored to your situation, so it actually fits into your real life.
